About the harps-These 36 string, five octave Celtic lever harps where hand crafted by the Dusty Strings Company of Seattle, Washington. They are made of Birdseye and Eastern maple, Koa wood, American black walnut, Honduras mahogany and spruce woods. Different from the big Classical columned pedal harp that use gut strings causing the notes to diminish more rapidly, lever harps have a rich sustain and bright quality.
